CompassIM Version 2.0 was released in June, 2009.
CompassIM is the replacement product for Access 1000 WMS, developed by Access Data
Systems in the mid 1990s and in continuous production since February, 1998.

Entry level features:
- Supports both Windows Authentication and Microsoft SQL Server Authentication for
secure access to the system.
- Import existing inventory files.
- Export inventory data
for
analysis using spreadsheet software.
- Provides for receiving, moving, shipping and physical inventory using the PC and/or
batch terminals.
- Select an item or a range of items and view the history of receiving and
shipping transactions, including dates, times, and user names.
- Conduct Physical Inventory using the PC and/or batch terminals for data input.
- Easily find items in the warehouse using the "Where is" function.
- Select from a list of standard reports and either print them to your printer
or preview them on your monitor.
- Operate the system as 1) a single company with a single site, 2) as a single
company with multiple sites, or 3) as multiple companies with single or multiple sites.
- Each company can have its own catalog of items and
business rules.
- If you operate a 3rd Party Logistics enterprise (3PL), you can purchase licenses
for as many companies as you need.
- If you are a government agency, you set up organizations instead of companies.
- Add licenses for additional users and feature modules, individually,
as dictated
by your requirements.
- Runs on the free edition, or any edition, of Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
